Pokémon (Dialga) › Level-Up : Put onto Dialga

Poké-POWER ⇢ Time Skip
Once during your turn (before your attack), you may have your opponent flip 2 coins. If both of them are heads, your turn ends. If both of them are tails, after your opponent draws a card at the beginning of his or her next turn, his or her turn ends. This power can’t be used if Dialga is affected by a Special Condition.

{M}{M}{C}{C} → Metal Flash : 80
During your next turn, Dialga can’t use Metal Flash.

weak: {R}×2 | resist: {P}-20 | retreat: 2
· Level-Up rule: Put this card onto your Active Dialga. Dialga LV.X can use any attack, Poké-Power, or Poké-Body from its previous level.

This is so close to being good. Using this in a joke deck would be amazingly fun.

The art on this Lv.X feels a lot more confined than the others. The whole gimmick at the time was the Pokemon was bursting out of the art box. Here we have a Pokemon that’s leaning back and has nothing extending out of the art box except for a piece of its crest clipping over the “Level Up” reminder at the top. And even then, the crest is almost tangent to the reminder, making it feel like it’s not even doing anything. A bit disappointing in my opinion!
