Choose 1 of your opponent’s Pokémon. This attack does 10 damage to that Pokémon. Don’t apply Weakness and Resistance for this attack. (Any other effects that would happen after applying Weakness and Resistance still happen.)

It follows Onixes in their tunnels, looking for scraps of food they have left behind.

Did he just… fling a car into the sky by popping out of the soil underneath it?

Relax, it’s only a toy car.

This card is actually great on its own in Prop 15/3. Dodrio is featured in just about any deck in the format, and it may try to capitalize on that by sponging 60 damage while in the active and then retreating, denying a prize card and threatening a terrifying 70 damage Rage later in the game. Diglett, however, can Knock Out that benched Dodrio, alleviating the threat of that Rage and removing a Retreat Aid from your opponent’s board.
This technique, to the best of my knowledge, was first explored by Whiskeyworship (retrotcgs.com), and it’s easy to fit Diglett into decks that already run Hitmonchan and/or Karate Chop Brock’s Mankey (And let’s be honest, you should try to fit either Fighting or Lightning types into your Prop 15/3 decks whenever you have the space because of how good the basic attackers for those types are).
I do think it would be funny to throw in a Dark Dugtrio to cheese the Retreat Aid-reliant format…
