Pokémon Power ⇢ Special Delivery
Once during your turn (before your attack), you may draw a card. If you do, choose a card from your hand and put it on top of your deck. This power can’t be used if Dragonite is Asleep, Confused, or Paralyzed.
{C}{C}{C} → Supersonic Flight : 60
Flip a coin. If tails, this attack does nothing.

This Pokémon can fly is spite of its large bulk. It is said to be able to circumnavigate the earth in just 16 hours.

Kind of neat because it is a promo from the first movie. Other than that, he is sort of junky (he’s a STAGE 2 XP)

Just because all the stage 2s now have 130 HP doesn’t mean they did back then.
Pokémon 31337
Yea, heck, some stage 2s had 60 hp.

This could have worked as a stage 1 back then, but the pokepower is REALLY uninteresting. The “return this to the top of your deck” thing basically amounts to you drawing a card in the long run, outside of using Oak variants or protecting yourself from targeted discard. You’re basically turning the top card of the deck into a permanent addition to your hand…which basically means that you functionally just drew a card. That begs the question: why did you run this thing in the first place?
Jungle Scyther performs at a similar level, but happens to be unevolved.
Of course, they eventually popped out a pokemon (FRLG pidgeot ) that cranked up the ability to insane levels. This is kind of a continuity from bad single-card acquisition to awesome single-card acquisition
draw 1, return 1 to the top of your deck at radom/draw 1, discard 1 at random
draw 1, return 1 to the top of your deck/draw 1, discard 1
draw 1, shuffle one into your deck
draw 1
Search 1, discard 1/return 1 to your deck at random
Search 1, it goes on top of your deck instead of your hand

That’s more than just power creep ,though, that’s a comparison between an awesome card for its time and a subpar one for its time

Another in-depth review :P Someone I know found a use for this! He’s making a deck with Salamence from Arceus (everyone’s trying that guy at the moment :S). He’s running Dark Dragonair anyway so this guy’s going in to put energy on top of the deck so Salamence can use his Power on it.

Dark Kira
I like that this card is called Dragonit in German, even though Dragonite’s German name is Dragoran.
Mantidactyle
Let’s not talk about Promo Mewtwo’s French name…
« Deuxmiaou »… Which means “Two Meow”.
