Poké-POWER ⇢ Tri-Poison
Once during your turn (before your attack), you may flip a coin. If heads, choose 1 of the Defending Pokémon. That Pokémon is now Poisoned. Put 3 damage counters instead of 1 on that Pokémon between turns. This power can’t be used if Drapion is affected by a Special Condition.
{D}{D}{C}{C} → Sniping Tail : 40
Does 40 damage to 1 of your opponent’s Benched Pokémon. (Don’t apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokémon.) The Defending Pokémon can’t retreat during your opponent’s next turn.
· Level-Up rule: Put this card onto your Active Drapion. Drapion LV.X can use any attack, Poké-Power, or Poké-Body from its previous level.

So if a Benched Pokémon is Poisoned by this thing, would the poison be removed by becoming the Active Pokémon?
HEZ
It says one of the Defending Pokemon, i.e. one of the 2 opposing Active Pokemon in a double battle.
A benched Pokemon can never be poisoned.
feyblade
It’s a surprisingly easy mistake to make, given how much impact such a change on the game would have. Poison stays in place in the games, after all.
It would be kind of cool to have a Pokemon that can inflict a longer-lasting version of Poison that stays on the bench.
