Mr. Snapping Turtle here had the distinction of being one of the final two theme deck mascots. Kinda bittersweet that theme decks (which had been a part of each new TCG set, from Overgrowth and Zap! back in 1999) came to an end in 2020. But, I do believe V Battle Decks are a better idea and give new players a better intro to playing the TCG.

Makes me wonder if cracked ice holo will ever be a thing again? I think it started in Gen 4. It was a really nice tradition, getting an alternate holo version of the “chase card” from each theme deck.
