My answer to Durant? Beartic‘s Sheer Cold, Cobalion‘s Iron Breaker, or Kyurem‘s Glaciate :-) Keeping only one active and one benched Pokémon helps positively

Glaciate is useless against Durant. It takes 3 turns to power up and 3 turns to KO on its own, which is way too slow to do take them out. On top of that, Durant almost always has Eviolite and/or Special Metal Energy attached, preventing some damage. So its really not a great choice.

Wait, is fire one or two syllables? I always thought it was two, but maybe not.

Honestly, that’s a good question. It can be both. Usually, you’d pronounce it with two syllables, but pronouncing it with only one, as I’ve intended here, is also correct.

Officially, “fire” is one syllable. You pronounce it as if it was two, but it’s like how “are” and “our” pronounced the same even though they aren’t supposed to be. What syllables would it be broken into? “Fi” is obvious, but just “re” isn’t, as it’s pronounced “rr”. The word “fir” is one syllable, but when we go from soft “i” to hard, it doesn’t magically create a syllable unless you pronounce the “e”.

Load your deck with 4x Snorlax, 4x dialga, 4x groudon, 4x Dialga G, 4x Heatran, 4x Wailord, 4x metagross, 4x regigigas, 4x aggron, 4x kyogre, 4x Golurk, 4x probopass, and 4x Torterra, 4x Arceus, and 4x Scott. Surely these guys would die of overeating!
