This card has had wonderful symmetry with Counter Catcher. Now that CC is rotating, I’ll be interested to see how powerful the Dusclops/Dusknoir strategy remains.

To be fair, it’s still pretty useful at nailing basics and stage 1 evolutions before they can reach stage 2. Azul tweeted out about this format being the age of slop boxes, and while I halway agree, it’d be crazy to dismiss some of what carried over to H/I/J standard.
