Does Electrode still get the boost from Vitality Band if it’s discarded by Bang Boom Chain? I want to say yes but I’m not sure how to handle this specific text; I always get confused about these types of interactions.

If the Vitality Band is discarded from Electrode as part of the attack, then I would probably say no, as it specifies that it’d be discarded before doing damage – which is the part that Vitality Band affects.
