This is the first artwork of a Pokémon by Ryo Ueda since the XY block – he only did artwork for Trainer cards for the entire SM era, and this continued into SWSH. However, this doesn’t appear to bring in a total return to form, as even after this, he seems to still *mostly* be doing Trainer cards.
