If you attach Big Charm to this card, it can be a really effective comeback card when paired with Karen’s Conviction.
Say your opponent has only two prize cards left–with K’s Conviction, you can do 200 damage for {C}, and Big Charm saves Electrode from knocking itself out.
Could be a good option in EVS Zoroark decks!

I’ve been thinking about some new cards that could also fit into “Phantom Transformation” Zoroark decks. I like the idea of using it to swap in Fossil Pokemon, like ASR Shieldon and Cranidos.
Cranidos especially could be good with Electrode in low-energy-cost attack decks.

CRE Abomasnow is another option if you don’t want to run Big Charm. That frees you up to attach Choice Belt.
And, because it’s an evolution Pokémon, you can also run Cheryl to heal Electrode every turn.
