I’m currently playing a meme deck with this card and BRS Floatzel. Use CRE Peony to discard your hand when you have an Empoleon in it, then search out two annoying item cards like Crushing Hammer or Yell Horn. Then, when your hand is empty, put Empoleon onto your bench! And use Floatzel to get the item cards out of your discard pile. Rinse and repeat!

It’s a fun deck–but 60 damage is really too little to make Empoleon a main attacker, so you need some other heavy hitter…
