Erika’s Jigglypuff is one of the best cards in the Prop 15/3 format. It’s splashability and strong efficient attack has put it in the annals of Pokémon TCG history as one of the best.

The original name of Pulled Punch is やさしいパンチ,
Yasashii Punch / Gentle Punch. Theやさしいis the same prefix used in the original Japanese for Light Pokémon, which is why you have an attack like Light Machoke’s appearing to be a counterpart to Gentle Punch. Because it is!The idea of ‘kindness’ is also seen with some of Erika’s Trainer cards, with a card like Charity being a great demonstration of it. That idea of kindness also appeared on SI Lapras and continued onto Light Pokémon, but didn’t go on to be a standard mechanic for the card game. However, it does still show up sometimes – Mega Floette ex’s Gentle Light attack is a やさしい attack that feels like it’s evoking the mood of mutually beneficial attacks and abilities like Light Vaporeon’s Hypnoshower, Light Togetic’s Gift, etc.
