In an Eeveelution GX deck I was missing an Espeon for psychic coverage and bench snipe. That’s when this kitty proved itself. For a {P} and DCE it could finish any retreated GX pokemon previously damaged by any other Eeveelution. Its evolution punished attackers which scaled with energy the same way Espeon did but as a single prizer and left an Eevee still free to evolve.
This attack returned on Sneasel DRI, in a format focused more on 1HKOs and no evolution to hit still dominant psychic for weakness.

Soooo I’ve played a few online games with Caturday since I left this comment. It’s been fun! I love all the moving pieces the deck has, I think I might build the deck IRL to use against my brother and all his COVID era decks.
One thing I am immensely thankful for is that both Weezing CEC and Inteleon CRE can damage Mew UNB, letting you disable opposing bench barriers in a turn or two. Sadly I’m assuming Lucario & Melmetal GX would basically be an auto loss between Metal Goggles and Lucario & Melmetal GX’s GX attack.
