Welp, there goes any chance of basic pokemon not being a threat during the first gen 6 rotation.
Curtis
That actually depends. Maybe the gen 6 legendaries won’t be good. Maybe they have some decent evolutions that actually outmatch EXs to the point of chasing them off. Most likely neither, though.

I never knew Eviolite was still being played.
feyblade
It was an MVP in the 2012 pokemon world championship.
Hydreigon is big, but it’s still an important card.
Ziggmiceter
Yes, but it’s not going to be played for BW-PLS too much.
What does it have to do with Hydreigon?
feyblade
I was just pointing out that the viability of some stage 2s would not cripple the card.
Curtis
Awww… Its not even shiny!
feyblade
Now it appears as if the developers just said “Screw it all!” to themselves, opting to release an eviolite that works for EVERY pokemon under the sun…and at uncommon, no less. I guess this is one case where power creep feels acceptable.

I like how everyone forgot this card is still around after Hard Charm (XY) #119 came out.
Jiří z Poděbrad
I wonder if this card will be reprinted again someday?
