This is what happens when you load your set with reprints from a “beginner’s set.” the odds of you accomplishing anything with this are vanishingly small.

when you compare this Farfetch’d to the earlier Sugimori’s artwork printing, you realize the card designers have forgotten how to do proper stock image cards. They used to put them over filtered images of environments to hide the fact that they were using a stock image, but now it seems that they embrace that and just tack the pokemon over some weird abstract backdrop.
