I never quite got the logic behind giving Delta pokemon abilities that only effected other delta pokemon. If the idea was to give the types (primarily fire, electric, and steel) a wider variety of weaknesses, why on earth would you functionally restrict these pokemon to delta only decks? They’re supposed to be serious deck-building options if a player wants to diversify his weaknesses yet still focus on the same type…why torment players with abilities that obligate you to commit yourself to filling your deck with delta cards?

I could be wrong, but I think the idea was to have multiple lines of same-type delta Pokemon with different weaknesses (for example, this, Kabutops Delta HP 9, and Mewtwo Delta HP 24) (That’s not a good combo but you get the idea) and then the challenge would be finding some synergy on top of the different weaknesses.
