It’s very rare for an energy acceleration ability like this to appear on a basic.
I imagine that’s why all the “Swim Freely” Pokémon are Stage 1s!

This is also why Teal Mask Ogerpon ex is so unique! A basic that can accelerate energies.

This is why I suspect that we may not get a fire-type Mega Heatran ex. Oricorio ex is, like Finneon here, a basic Pokémon who can accelerate energies. But its ability only triggers when a stage 1/stage 2 mega evolution fire type is in play.
