Shuffle your deck. Then, look at the top 7 cards of your deck. Choose 1 of those cards and put it into your hand. Shuffle the rest into your deck afterward.
· Supporter rule: You can play only one Supporter card each turn. When you play this card, put it next to your Active Pokémon. When your turn ends, discard this card.

With the set size in the XY base set, we’re practically getting a new E-series. Hopefully that trend continues throughout the gen 6 sets. It would be nice to rotate directly to XY-on.

Bad news… just more Gen 1 pandering. :/

The ポケカwiki does some basic calculation of the probability of getting the card you want with this card – it comes down to the very obvious statement that “the less cards remaining in your deck, the more likely this card gets you what you want”. They note that the card saw a very healthy amount of use in half-deck formats, given the smaller deck size, but it wasn’t oft used in standard formats. I don’t think half-deck has ever been a format outside of Japan, however.
Also, I’m assuming feyblade’s above comment is with respect to this artwork showing in the actual video games? It was in an art museum in XY, alongside a few others. It was neat to see them there!

I would never have guessed that Sugimori drew this, it’s quite a departure from his usual style.
