This just completes Roaring Skies and its insanely massive catering to grass types. I’d like to see this kind of card be used for other types in future sets. Also I’d like AOR’s Vaporeon’s, Flareon’s and Jolteon’s abilities to be put in future Leafeon, Espeon, Umbreon and Sylveon. Glaceon tho, not sure. Finally, 1 MTG Forest = this card.

      Oh no, you’re right 😭 😭
That makes any spiritual reprint all the less likely. This card will go the way of the dino, just like Broken Time-Space…

And even the nerfed version prompted a ban in Expanded! Forest of Vitality, Leave It to the Wind Jumpluff, Crazy Code Porygon-Z, and either Draw Energy or Enriching Energy combine to make an infinite draw engine. Add Apple Drop Flapple, and you could deal infinite damage as early as turn 2. Creatures opted to break the combo by banning the Flapple.

Wow! Expanded combos sure are something else. I wish standard had some more combos… (Though not this powerful obviously)

Speaking of banning cards in Expanded, do you know if Slowking (Stellar Crown) and Amazing Rare Yveltal (Shining Hates) combo is banned too?? It can OHKO everything!!

No bans targeting that strategy, and there don’t really need to be. A Stage 1 + 2 Energy (and not just Colorless) + a way to stack your deck is not an insignificant amount of work to take a single knockout. If you were to bring a Slowking deck to an Expanded tournament, you might only have time to take one knockout before having your entire board wiped by the undisputed champion, Regidrago VStar.

There were reports of giant images on the site throughout today (10/2/23) for certain searches. This should be fixed now. Sorry for the inconvenience!
