If the past is prelude, then Paradigm Trigger will have eight V cards — four that evolve, and four “vanilla.” (see, e.g., Amazing Volt Tackle’s setlist — https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Vivid_Voltage_(TCG)#Set_lists)
We already know the evolving four (Unown, Lugia, and the Gen 8 Regis). But what will the last four be?? They may be the last V cards EVER!
Japanese sets also don’t double-up on energy types for the Vs. Dragon, Lightning, Psychic, and Colorless are all already taken.

Here’s my guesses for what Pokemon may show up as the final four Vs:
      Darkness: Muk, Obstagoon, Weavile, Weezing?
      Water: Feraligatr, Swampert, Primarina, Manaphy?
      Grass: Chesnaught, Meganium, Bellossom, Pinsir?
      Fighting: Groudon, Landorus, Mudsdale, Runerigus?
      Fire: Darmanitan, Incineroar, Blacephalon, Rapidash?
      Steel: Stakataka, Kartana, Celesteela, Escavalier?

(a few more guesses, just cuz I have so much fun with this:)
        Hydreigon, Torterra, Walrein, and Sceptile?
        Golem, Dragalge, Excadrill, and Arctozolt?
        Avalugg, Nidoking, Pyroar, and Cradily?
Can’t wait to see the actual reveals!!!

I’m rooting for a Kingdra V. If it gets no V, then it’ll be the first 2-prize variant that Kingdra doesn’t appear in!

Welp, looks like I was 1 for 4. At least I guessed Chesnaught!
