      I don’t get how Gardy EX has 150 HP, New one has 110, SW one has 110, power creep is being lazy.

        Ha, I’m quite glad of this, I hate it when an old ex is obsoleted by a new, normal version of that Pokemon. This card is still SO good, one of the best Power locking cards around AND it’s a Gardevoir so you can easily play it alongside the multitude of other awesome things that evolve from Kirlia.

    Wow this card is pretty cool. I’m surprised to see an old card that looks so good.

    I can’t imagine Gardevoir being a Fire Type though; that’s trippy.

    I was responding to William H. I was referencing how a ton of cards in the Delta Sets were completely off the wall types (for example, Ludicolo has a fire type card in this era).

    One of the Q&As from pokemon-card.com¹ (as with a comment i made on LM Kecleon, it’s unusual for the current iteration of the site’s Q&As to include those for pre-DP era cards, as that’s as far back as the site’s database goes²);

    𝑄. Is it possible to put an Imprison Marker on Mysterious Fossil?
    𝐴. Yes, you can put an Imprison Marker on it. [i.e.; Imprison doesn’t count as a Special Condition. ]

    𝑄. If I put an Imprison Marker on MD Aerodactyl, does the effect of that card’s Primal Claw put 2 damage counters on Gardevoir 𝒆𝒙 δ?
    𝐴. No. When Gardevoir 𝒆𝒙 δ’s Imprison Poké-Body ends, Aerodactyl’s Primal Claw Poké-Body stops working, so no damage counters can be placed as a result of that Poké-Body.

    ¹ I’d like to try to preserve the original JP text in case of any nuances I end up missing in translation, like I did in the comments of Gardevoir Lv.X, but I find it undermines readability. I’m just going to post my translations, it makes the whole thing a bit faster for me to do as well.
    ² Which is why a fansite like pcg-search.com, which fills the void of everything prior to DP1, is so useful.

    This is one of only 5 cards Masahiko Ishii did artwork for in the TCG. Circumstantial evidence suggests this alone was meant to tip people off that he was a Creatures staff member, but he later shows up in the credits of several Creatures-developed games to make it less uncertain. I’d like to elaborate on the former point a bit more, which I’ve kind of made in passing on a few sections, but just want to state it in a bit more organized of a manner;

    For the ADV and PCG era, each set was complimented by anywhere from 1-3 half decks (or quarter decks), mostly comprised of cards not found in the set, but understood to be complementary to it. For the last two sets of the PCG era, Miracle Crystal (which is what comprises most of Crystal Guardians) and The Furthest Ends of Offense and Defense¹ (which comprises most of Dragon Frontiers), there are a few conspicuous things about the ‘main’ Pokémon of each deck; all are 3DCG art, and the artists weren’t really regular contributors to the TCG and all could be found in the credits of Creatures-developed Pokémon games.

    CG Groudon 𝒆𝒙, from the Miracle Crystal Groudon 𝒆𝒙 Half-Deck
    – One of only 2 cards Takabon did artwork for. Takabon is in the credits of Pokédex 3D as an Art Director.

    CG Kyogre 𝒆𝒙, from the Miracle Crystal Kyogre 𝒆𝒙 Half-Deck
    – This is the only card Yasuki Watanabe did artwork for. He appears in the staff of PokéPark Wii as a member of the Planning team.

    DF Tyranitar ex δ, from the Furthest Ends Tyranitar ex δ Half-Deck
    – The only card Yusuke Shimada did artwork for. He appears in the credits of Battle Revolution, several Pokémon Ranger games, Pokédex 3D Pro, PokéPark 2, et al.

    ..and finally, as already discussed, this card, from the Furthest Ends Gardevoir ex δ Half-Deck.

    ¹ さいはての攻防, to this day still my favorite name for any TCG set.
