Heads up for everyone: I’ve uploaded BW8, Shiny Collection, and BW9. (Basically the Japanese sets that are expected to be released in English in the somewhat near future.) You can see them listed on the sets page or in the header navigation within a couple days (cache needs to clear).

This Megazord is actually being piloted by Torterra Lv. X . Go go power rangers!

so if i use red signal, i get to choose which benched pokemon?

That’s right. Whenever it says “you may switch(such as here)” or “switch(such as in any instance of the move “Drag off”),” the switch is under your control. Whenever it says “your opponent switches,” it is under his control.
Keep in mind that in the earlygame, the distinction is often subtle. If a card does not specify that you MAY switch, you MUST switch..which can often get you in trouble…it doesn’t matter who switches the pokemon, if the lack of the word “may” allows them to pivot from their basic wall to their attacker, you’ll have just made a big mistake.

Umbreon 𝙑𝙈𝘼𝙓 has the Ability “Dark Signal,” which acts the same as “Red Signal” here.

If I have the G-Scope Ace Spec in play, is that attack (100 damage to bench) an “either” or an “also”; that is can I use Genesect’s attack and the G-Scope attack at the same time or do I have to choose one or the other?
Exemtation
You choose one of the 2 attacks. You can only use 1 attack per turn unless otherwise stated.

Recently watched the 2014 Worlds finals, which was a mirror match between two decks featuring this fella supported by Virizion EX. Was such a cool set to watch! Love how it’s both an attacker with spread damage, an OHKO machine with G-Booster, and able to gust with Red Signal. Might try and build 2014.

Yooo, you build retro decks? If you want to play more games of old formats, TCGONE is a good option when you can’t find an opponent in your area. https://tcgone.net/about It’s automated like PTCGO or PTCGL, but you can play it for free, and it focused on formats from Base-Fossil through Team Up-Chilling Reign. Here’s a handy tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I0yb5zbz330 Sometimes it can be a bit tricky to find players for certain formats, but the discord helps with that.
Genesect EX was also a top deck in the Legacy format, or PTCGO’s HeartGold SoulSilver through Legendary Treasures format that was founded during the XY era and operated under the most recent rules and errata up until Silver Tempest and the end of PTCGO. In THAT format, you could set up much faster by switching between cards like https://pkmncards.com/card/smeargle-undaunted-ud-8/ and https://pkmncards.com/card/celebi-triumphant-tm-92/ with the help of Switch and https://pkmncards.com/card/skyarrow-bridge-next-destinies-nxd-91/ , leaving Virizion EX as merely a safeguard against status conditions. The deck also benefitted from being the only deck with non-attack-based unconditional Gust (Legacy used the post-errata https://pkmncards.com/card/pokemon-catcher-kalos-starter-set-kss-36/), as well as from having https://pkmncards.com/card/junk-arm-triumphant-tm-87/ to recover your https://pkmncards.com/name/g-booster/ and https://pkmncards.com/name/colress-machine/ instead of https://pkmncards.com/name/shadow-triad/ (It was an Item instead of a Supporter, and it could recover non-Plasma Items too).
I’ll leave a comment under Junk Arm explaining why it doesn’t recover all Trainers.
