During the Gen 5 TCG, several JP sets were named after the attack of the featured chase card of the set. A lot of the names weren’t preserved in translation – which is neither here nor there since EN set names decided not to follow this convention – but Genesect’s attack here, “Megalo Cannon”, shares its name with that of the JP set that was adapted into Plasma Blast.
