Hiding in people’s shadows at night, it absorbs their heat. The chill it causes makes the victims shake.

Was Creep Show used much?
JP
Not in high-level competitive play. It was a “fun” deck at best.

It’s subtle, but this print actually changed the holofoil distribution on this card. While the original BREAKthrough print only had a holo effect on the background, this one also has it on the blue outline.

Also, while Creep Show has never been viable, it’s neat how much potential support it’s gotten since its release. Spell Tag, Horror Energy, Counter Energy, Mysterious Treasure, Fog Crystal, Shady Dealings Drizzile and Quick Shooting Inteleon, Distortion Door Giratina, Headbutt Tantrum Galarian Zigzagoon, an excellent Gastly in Unbroken Bonds, three different Gengars that place or manipulate damage counters, and Grimsley. There’s also Yveltal GX and the upcoming Hisuian Typhlosion Vstar who both have single-use attacks that KO anything with exactly four damage counters.
It’s one of those gimmicky concepts that will probably never succeed (in large part simply because it’s a stage 2 attacker), but it’s probably more functional now than it was when it first came out. Especially now that we have 3-prize pokemon with monstrous HP scores running around — Creep Show works best against them.
