Words fail me for just how incredibly powerful this card is. Hypnotoxic Laser (PLS) #123 pushed the power of printable item cards in the current format. It’s really telling that people initially assumed that the text was a mistranslation, and that the card would actually require YOUR OPPONENT to draw the cards. This card pushes just how far ANY card can go in the current format. Make no mistake: This is quite possibly the best supporter of all time, with only cards such as Seeker competing for its slot in unlimited. Its follies in sealed aside, this card is format defining and would define any modified format it could possibly be printed in. This will basically FORCE the number of item cards players use to go down, lest they run the risk of getting hit with a FIVE card advantage swing or worse. In unlimited, this will have wild shenanigans with Erika (G1) #100 and even makes such esoteric cards as Blaine’s Quiz #3 (G2) #112 usable when used alongside it.
You could be seriously be ready to dominate your opponent , but a single drop of this card and…

Did anybody else notice that the screens all show a different card art from Plasma Freeze? There’s Colress, Snorlax, Scrafty, Amoongus, and Rotom.
skyshaymin49
Aren’t those from PLS?
LarryAlberto
Wopps! Yes, they are, but in my defense, there are 3 different sets that start with the word “Plasma”
skyshaymin49
True.

Why isnt this played in GLC? Seems good maybe? I had a friend asking about it. I told him I thought maybe it was too specific/situational

This card lost a lot of its potency when the first turn rules updated to prevent playing a Supporter on the first turn. Before that, the player going first could destroy the opponent’s setup capacity before their opponent even gets a turn. While still a potentially potent effect in some lock decks, it’s a lot less impactful now, which I assume would be true in GLC as well.
