One day, there needs to be a Magikarp printed with “Ancestral Recall” as a move.

  Ancestral Memory is actually called りゅうのきおく Ryū no kioku on the Japanese version, which roughly translates to “Dragon’s Memory”.
  So the rechristening to “Ancestral Memory” was pretty much just WotC being cute with it.
  And since they no longer do the PTCG, it’s highly unlikely there will ever be such a blatant callback to the original-original Bill.
