A tails on Overhead Toss’s flip should have resulted in additional damage to the defending pokemon as WELL as damage to your benched pokemon. It makes sense ,anyway: striking headfirst into one of the spiky pokemon that giovanni would inevitably bench (rhydon, nidoking, etc) would probably hurt more than just landing on the ground
