{P} → Energy Patch
Take a basic Energy card attached to 1 of your Pokémon and attach it to another of your Pokémon.
{P}{C} → Syncroblast : 40
If Girafarig and the Defending Pokémon don’t have the same number of Energy cards attached to them, this attack’s base damage is 10 instead of 40.

Girafarig is printed with a Psychic Weakness here. Not really notable in and of itself, as tons of Psychic Pokémon are weak to {P} in the TCG, but Girafarig was printed with no Weakness in the TCG. N1 Girafarig was a Psychic card and printing that card with a Psychic Weakness would suggest a Weakness to Ghost Pokémon it doesn’t have in the games thanks to its Normal/Psychic typing. N4 Girafarig was a Normal card and printing that card with a Fighting weakness would suggest a Weakness to Fighting Pokémon it doesn’t have in the games, for the same reason.
e-Card Skyridge doesn’t really care to entertain this novelty anymore and brings Psychic Girafarig in line with other Psychic Pokémon of the era, assigning it a Psychic Weakness. This carries into the ADV and PCG eras, where Girafarig is printed as a Psychic Pokémon each time. The DP and HGSS blocks will tinker with Girfarig’s typing and weakness only a little bit, but after that things go back to playing it straight.
