Crazy how this was the last regular Basic Giratina card to have been released in a while (for now) I wonder when another will be released in any upcoming sets?

And ironically the cheapest versions of Giratina are Giratina V LOR, Giratina VSTAR LOR, and Giratina V SWSH259. I wonder if Shinji Kanda’s Giratina V LOR 186 artwork has turned Giratina into a recognizable target for “investors,” or if it’s just a more iconic Pokémon than I give it credit for.
Also, this Giratina is pretty similar to Mawile OBF, but it saw a lot more play (https://limitlesstcg.com/cards/UNM/86/decklists)(https://limitlesstcg.com/cards/OBF/143), probably because it coexisted with Scoop Up Net and was playable in formats where most decks (Including ones with limited or no Energy acceleration or that relied on early manual Energy attachments) played at least some Special Energy. While Mawile was in Standard, the biggest Special Energy abuser, Lugia VSTAR/Archeops SIT, could attach enough Energy to power up a Pokémon in a single turn (And it generally didn’t expect those Pokémon to survive to fight another turn).
