Does Frost Wall prevent damage from VSTAR Pokémon? Are they considered evolution Pokémon?

Yep, if the upper left bar says “evolves from”, then it’s an evolution Pokémon — VMAX, VSTAR, and also the old BREAK cards all count as evolutions.
From a lore standpoint, though, I’d say they’re not; they’re just turning into the exact same Pokémon.
