Together, Ice Wall and Assault Vest would soak 80 damage… but only from attackers using Special Energy. Even if all are using Special Energy, 160 damage isn’t that hard to come by in Expanded, is it? It is nice being a Stage 1, single-Prize Pokémon that can survive up to 150 damage from something using Special Energy, but what else are we using with it? Walling alone won’t win… or at least, needs to be mightier to do the job.
Though, since we’re talking the Unlimited Format… Focus Band. Focus Band is love. Focus Band is life! XD

Ha, you know I really do just like spitballing ideas without thinking much about it. I tend to forget just how crazy powercreep is these days so yeah it wouldn’t be that great. Though if it were contending against cards from its own era or later ones like DP-Pt, it would be pretty nasty with all those Holon’s Castforms and Call energies floating around.
