Flip a coin. If heads, search your discard pile for a Pokémon, show it to your opponent, and put it on top of your deck. If tails, search your discard pile for a Trainer card, show it to your opponent, and put it on top of your deck.

You know, this is a decent card. Surprising nobody really used it.
Bleak
Nobody really used it because there’s a 50/50 chance of it having the effect that you like. That, coupled with the fact that your opponent can easily manipulate the top card of your deck with something like an N (towards the latter portion of when the card was legal) was just too much reason not to run it.
Junk Arm was better at getting trainers from the discard and Super Rod was better at getting Pokemon.
