This is the first time Basic Energy cards in a set are ordered by JP order rather than EN alphabetical order. It’ll take a while yet to adopt JP order in other meaningful ways (and even as of 2022 we still haven’t fully done it), but this is the first sign of a shift in approach.

  * Scratch out the “rather than EN alphabetical order” – EX Ruby & Sapphire has a unique sort order to its Basic Energy that’s not alphabetical. It’s not exactly JP sort order, either, but I think I can figure out the logic.
