It climbs up cliffs as it heads toward the peak of a mountain. As soon as it reaches the summit, it rolls back down the way it came.

Rolling Rocks is only the second appearance of a move that hasn’t appeared in the TCG in a very long time. Originally [いわころがり 𝐈𝐖𝐀𝐊𝐎𝐖𝐀𝐆𝐀𝐑𝐈], the move first appeared on Fossil Golem. With a gap of 22 years for the JP edition (1997 vs 2019) and 20 for the EN edition (1999 vs 2019), it’s quite a deep cut in the game’s history.

(There’s probably a reason they chose to translate the move differently this time than last time, with “Avalanche” having become a move in the EN video game series in the long period subsequent, but the two moves are different in the JP video games [いわころがり vs. ゆきなだれ]).
