For some reason, whenever I see this card or Great Tusk’s Ken Sugimori illustration, I imagine it looks like a roly-poly with tusks. A surprisingly precious take on a Pokémon that looks “more impressive than homelike,” as G.K. Chesterton wrote in The Man Who Was Thursday.
