    I wonder how a Greninja deck would fare with Starmie from the next set, which returns Basic Energy from your discard pile to your hand. You could use just the XY Greninja and the BREAK evolution to throw tons of Shurikens, then return the Energy to your hand the following turn with Galactic Spin.

      Hello David,

      I am currently running the Evolutions Staryu/Starmie chain in my Greninja deck and it works very well with it.
