This art is a great example of how weird Greninja’s eyelids are. It seems to have two sets – the solid blue set of eyelids that are normally visible, in addition to a transparent set that it can close independently. This is in line with the eyes of many real-life animals, frogs included, which use their second set of eyelids to protect their eyes when underwater. I think this is the only time it’s been shown with both eyelid sets at once though!
