I like how they waited for Tool Scrapper to rotate out before releasing tools that would be actually be useful to discard off of your own Pokemon.

Man this card was such a fun idea. I hope the idea of attaching an annoying tool to your opponent’s Pokémon gets revisited someday!
Amourshipper
I wish that they could expand the system and allow it to be attached to normal Pokemon, even thought that would probably make this card used a whole lot in tournaments.
feyblade
The thing is that, in competitive play, it might as well be attachable onto ANY pokemon. I mean, some non-EXes (like donphan, oddly enough) are viable, but the list is fairly limited
Amourshipper
Exactly. That’s my whole point. At the very least if you’re not going to allow it to be attached to ANY pokemon, allow it to be attached to evolution cards.
Dark Kira
They probably designed the card to help evolution decks against Big Basic decks (which obviously didn’t work) so making it work on evolutions would be counterintuitve.
Amourshipper
What exactly are Big Basic decks?
EverPhoenix
Decks that use huge basic pokemon (EXs, and before they came out, Reshiram/Zekrom/Musketeer Trio) as their attackers, so they don’t have to worry about evolving or taking up extra deck space for evolution trees. That’s my understanding at least.
