Heal Energy
Energy › Special Energy

Heal Energy provides {C} Energy. When you attach this card from your hand to 1 of your Pokémon, remove 1 damage counter and all Special Conditions from that Pokémon. If Heal Energy is attached to Pokémon-ex, Heal Energy has no effect other than providing Energy.

With pokemon-ex now well out of vogue, this is essentially strictly better than full heal energy.

    …yay?

Heal Energy reads like a two-for-one retrain of both Potion Energy and Full Heal Energy, and aesthetically lines up with both of them too, incorporating Potion Energy’s leaf and Full Heal Energy’s blue aesthetic in the background. So it was a little weird to see the DP era split the effects back up¹ into Health Energy (green aesthetic) and Recover Energy (blue aesthetic).

¹ Yes, yes, there’s a mechanical rationale insofar as the question of whether it works with Pokémon 𝒆𝒙. It still felt weird in the grand scheme of things.
