Am I the only one who has trouble remembering that Heatran is legendary? He just doesn’t feel like a legendary to me.

True story, I kept trying to breed the one I caught from Pearl when I ported it to BW to actually salvage the terrible IV/nature combo I got when I was just casually running through the former. Heatran really is about as “un-legendary” as a legend can get. It has little to no backstory(other than being a powerful monster randomly met in a cave),it is not associated with any other legendary pokemon, and doesn’t really have the “epic” feel that a lot of the legends were designed to have. It also can be either gender. honestly, if any pokemon were to get knocked down from the” legendary”status, it would be Heatran.

Or Rotom, if it is considered a legendary. It certainly acted like one in Pearl.
