Pokémon (Heatran) › Level-Up : Put onto Heatran

Poké-BODY ⇢ Heat Metal
Your opponent can’t remove the Special Condition Burned by evolving or devolving his or her Burned Pokémon. (This also includes putting a Pokémon Level-Up card onto the Burned Pokémon.) Whenever your opponent flips a coin for the Special Condition Burned between turns, treat it as tails.

Poké-POWER ⇢ Heat Wave
Once at the end of your turn, if Heatran is on your Bench, you may use this power. If you discarded basic Energy cards attached to your {R} or {M} Active Pokémon by using that Pokémon’s attack this turn, attach up to 2 of those Energy cards to that Pokémon.

weak: {W}×2 | resist: n/a | retreat: 4
· Level-Up rule: Put this card onto your Active Heatran. Heatran LV.X can use any attack, Poké-Power, or Poké-Body from its previous level.

Is it just me, or does “Heat Wave” seem like a more appropriate name for “Heat Metal” and vice versa?

Whoa…. Heatran/Reahiram, maybe attach an Exp. Share to a Bronzong G and “Blue Flare” everything.

One of the nice things of Poke-Bodies and Poke-Powers being separate was that you could have a Pokemon with BOTH!
Four such cases occurred: this guy, Crystal Guardians Igglybuff, Dragon Frontiers Snorlax, and Stormfront Budew.

Interestingly due to the wording of the Poké-Body this card appears to still function under the current Burn rules! This holds up in the original Japanese: 相手プレイヤーがやけどで投げるコインは、すべでウラとしてあつかう。(Roughly translates to “All coins your opponent flips for burned are treated as tails” so consistent with the English version). I wonder if Burn or other special conditions will ever evolve enough to make older cards redundant in their effects. If first turn attacking is ever brought back then cards like Roaring Skies Latios EX would have some redundant text, but I don’t think that rule will change anytime soon (though I really miss turn 1 attack setup Pokémon like Sandstorm Dunsparce). Time will tell as the new ex era approaches!
