Finally a legit CoTD.
Well, at first I didn’t think Ho-oh would be good (Darn skewed testing also told me Hydreigon sucked and Garchomp/Altaria was BDIF), but it has proven itself to be Tier Two.
On a side note, I saw someone at a BR playing Ho-oh with all CoL Player Rewards Energy. Props to him for having swagger.

Cool that a spiritual reprint of this card is returning in Silver Tempest. If you’re lucky, you can even pull off accelerating Ho-oh V on turn 1 (especially if you go second and use a Supporter like Peony or Kamado to put Ho-oh and energy cards into your discard pile).
