Holon Energy FF provides {C} Energy.
If the Pokémon that Holon Energy FF is attached to also has a basic {R} Energy card attached to it, that Pokémon has no Weakness. If the Pokémon that Holon Energy FF is attached to also has a basic {F} Energy card attached to it, damage done by that Pokémon’s attack isn’t affected by Resistance. Ignore these effects if Holon Energy FF is attached to Pokémon-ex.

Where are the Holon Energy getting their effects? It’s a bit iffy, but at least some of them might be coming from the Gym block.
· The {R} effect for Holon Energy FF negates the Weakness of a Pokémon with {R} Energy attached. Cinnabar City Gym negates the Weakness of any of Blaine’s Pokémon – which were mostly {R} Pokémon.
· The {F} effect for Holon Energy FF negates the attacks of a Pokémon with {F} Energy attached from being affected by Resistance. Pewter City Gym did something similar for Brock’s Pokémon – which were mostly {F} Pokémon.
Holon Energy GL’s {G} effect is similar Celadon City Gym’s effect, and you could make an argument that its {L} effect is along similar lines to Vermillion City Gym’s effect, but it falls apart for Holon Energy WP.
Note that all the effects I’ve listed here are more or less of playing to the conventional strengths or weaknesses of that color’s archetype/mechanics that existed from the first TCG and went on for a while – in most cases continuing on even into the present – so maybe Holon Energy cards weren’t 𝘯𝘦𝘤𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘢𝘳𝘪𝘭𝘺 getting it from the aforementioned Gym cards, but rather all cards in question are drawing from the same conceptual ideaspace.
