It’s funny that the special art rare / art rare “Fusion Strike” cards in this set (Hoopa, Latias, Oricorio) were released in 2023. The fusion strike mechanic came out in 2021, just before VMAX Climax (which gave us the secret rare Gold/Black Mew VMAX). That high class set also gave us the plethora of cool Single Strike & Rapid Strike character cards.
But then these fusion strike cards came out a year later, in the 2022 set “VSTAR Universe”! A year after VMAX Climax and a year before they all rotated.
I guess my point is: it’s funny how these cards were cut off from the other secret rare battle style cards that came out in late 2021.
