I know that Houndour just bit the apple in half, but it just looks like its mouth is watering while looking at the levitating, quivering apple halves.

As a kid, I recall being confused by the physics of this apple bite. How is it possible that Houndour’s mouth bit the apple *clean in half* ?? For this to happen, this dog’s mouth would have to have, like, a perfectly vertical tooth that is straight as a knife.
But I guess it’s a Komiya illustration, which means that it’s heavily stylized, anyways!
