Pokémon (Igglybuff) › Baby : Evolves into Jigglypuff

Pokémon Power ⇢ Gaze
Once during your turn (before your attack), choose 1 of your opponent’s Benched Pokémon that has a Pokémon Power. That power stops working until the end of this turn. This effect ends if that Pokémon leaves the Bench.

weak: n/a | resist: n/a | retreat: 0
· Baby rule: If this Baby Pokémon is your Active Pokémon and your opponent announces an attack, your opponent flips a coin (before doing anything else). If tails, your opponent’s turn ends.

It has a very soft body. If it starts to roll, it will bounce all over and be impossible to stop.

This would be a fun card to bring back in some form. It probably wouldn’t be nearly as formidable as Hex Maniac · Ancient Origins (AOR) #75 since it would only disable a single pokemon’s ability at a time and only during your own turn, but it could produce some neat plays in snipe decks by giving them a way to disable Bench Barriers or by deactivating Vileplume-based item locks. And it could be countered by simply running more of the pokemon in question, so it probably wouldn’t make any deck outright unplayable.

Tanaka also illustrated “Whitney’s Wigglytuff” for the VS Expansion (Japan-only)
