    So with the new TCG mechanic being Future and Past Paradox forms it makes me wonder why the Donphans jumped the gun. Though at the very least they seems to kinda follow the pattern of Future Pokémon moving to and from the bench and Past Pokémon causing self damage.

    I think it’s somewhat justified by the elephants being introduced as Titan Pokémon well before the concept of Paradox Pokémon in the video games. That said, I think future prints of Great Tusk and Iron Treads will have their rightful Paradox tags.

      I was thinking about this after the announcement! I agree – I think it’s implied that SVI’s prints of Iron Treads and Great Tusk are based on the Titan Pokémon found in the desert, especially when you look at their illustration rare artworks. While they are technically Paradox Pokémon, they aren’t recognised as such when you first encounter them. I’m sure Paradox Rift will introduce ‘regular’ cards for both creatures with the new Paradox mechanics.
