This and Computer Search should be brought back immediately. Maybe then I’ll play the game again.

Ever heard of Junk Arm · Triumphant (TM) #87? Essentially the same thing, just doesn’t work on Supporters, Stadiums, or itself.

As for Computer Search, we’re getting Ultra Ball soon, which is a Pokémon-specific version.

Why does Junk Arm not work on itself?

Then you’d play 4 of these, 4 Bill, 4 Professor Oak and 4 Computer Search and suddenly your deck was down to less than 10 cards. Good times.

*Whistles, walking through the underground pass with an item finder in my possession*
    Ding ding ding!
    *Heads over to the item*
“Oh ,what are you doing here, N?”
    *stuffs him into my pack*
    Wait….

aaand you just said it, that’s clearly not how this card’s meant to work, the official ruling on the word “Trainer” doesn’t make sense and having to keep track of when a card was printed and what the terminology meant at the time is crazy. They should have learnt their lesson and not repeated the mistake of changing Trainer terminology again in B&W :/

You could say the same thing with Professor Oak =P

Well, it seems to have narrowly survived the ACE SPEC nerf that other powerhouses have fallen victim to: the plasma gale ACE SPEC version of this has a different name

Item Finder is called Dowsing Machine in Japan, sorry man.

Oh dear. It looks like errata is slowly but surely altering the broken classic trainers.

In that case, with item finder weakened, decks that rely on trainer recursion to great effect (such as recurring scoop upfour times in crobat donk) are going to take a huge blow. If scoop up is ace spec’d, things will just go crazy

I don’t like that they’re changing old cards, but they are balancing Unlimited in the process. Maybe by the time they’re done issuing errata to broken old cards, they’ll start officially supporting the format.

Not supporting the format? I have made lists for about 10 BW-BoC decks now, and I’m not even close to finished.

            Unlimited?

I’m referring to Unlimited, which, aside from a few rulings, there is absolutely no support.

Yes, but that actually looks like a Dowsing Machine.

oh dear. The japanese cards have the same name… but the American printing has a different name!
Assuming the errata still applies, this is going to confused the heck out of a lot of players

They ruled that Ace Specs are a different type of card, and therefore you may play 4 Computer Search and one ACE SPEC Conputer Search.

Its ironic that this card is called Item Finder, considering that it isn’t limited to grabbing Items.

The Ace Spec of this is called “Dowsing Machine” when it should have been called “Item Finder”, thanks TPCi!!
