Why you’d take the time to set up a Stage 1 just to accelerate your opponent’s energy is beyond me.

To combo it with things like Electivire TM + it can ruin an Eel/Bronzong players day putting their energy on the wrong things

Meddling is a very creative move. It would have been great, too…if it were an ability. Sadly, it is not an ability, and fielding a pokemon with 3 retreat, limited HP, a mandatory pre evolution, an energy requirement, and a mediocre attack that is only situationally above-par for power is just too much effort for this thing’s impact on the game.
This thing does form a fairly fun combo with Lysandre’s Trump Card. Attach the energy to a pokemon that cannot use it, then use Trump Card..they won’t be able to benefit from the energy you sent into their deck!

It could also be used in modified to help your mewtwo KO something. Next turn, escape rope / lysandre out the (e.g. virizion ex) thing you energied up, ko and take prizes.

Looking through the way multi-form pokemon have been handled over the years and this gen updated the Shellos line into a single line that always features both its forms (much like the Frillish line historically handled its gender forms), but they didn’t update Jellicent’s evolution box to show both Frillish forms like they did Gastrodon’s to show both Shellos forms. On top of how male Jellicent always has greater focus in the art, it really just seems like the devs dislike the female forms of this line.

Battle Styles abandoned depicting the female forms entirely, but I imagine the female forms will follow suit with their own cards before too long. Gonna be real weird if they keep the male Frillish as the only one in the evo box for that too, though.
