Yeah, considering it was only a few dollars until recently, I’d expect it to crash significantly when the latest bubble pops. Unfortunately, if there’s anything we learned from the last bubble, it’s that even popping the bubble doesn’t quite return cards to their original prices, so it might still be $10 or more. Which is still better than $53, I guess.

The bubble’s coming down, and COVID-era stuff onward is going to get hit the worst. Recovery for that era will probably take a very long time, but cards like this will retrace only so much. Honestly, if I was younger and didn’t have anything else going on, I’d sit on cards like this without blinking. Offloading Gen 7’s hits now has the same flavor as someone dumping a Base Set Charizard back in 1999. Reasonable at the time, but possibly something you spend the rest of your life thinking about.
